1. Daniel came to Canada at age 13 with his parents and siblings, arriving in Halifax December 29, 1913 on board the vessel Potsdam. They departed from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. In the ships manifest their destination was shown as Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, but a family history detailed in the book Our heritage recalled : Prelate, Saskatchewan, 1908-1990 page 268, they arrived in Prussia (now know as Leader, Saskatchewan) on January 16, 1913. In the manifest their religion was shown as Roman Catholic.

Saulte Ste Marie on-line newspaper: BOLTON, Arthur Sidney - Entered into rest at the Penetanguishene Hospital on Friday, January 23, 2009 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Edith Bolton (nee Clarke). Dear father of Steven, Nancy LePage and her husband Alfred, Mary Ann Willmott and her spouse Larry Contios, and Sidney. Loving popa of Dylan, Jacob, Amy, Jessica, Corrie, Steven, Nathan and Trevor. Great grandfather of Benjamin. Brother of Barbara LeBlanc and her husband Armand, Patricia Luxton and her husband Tom, Joanne Schmidt and her husband Ward and the late Marilyn McCullough. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Sid's life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Penetanguishene Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be received by the LeCLAIR CREMATION CENTRE, 357 King Street, Midland, L4R3M7
