Czar was a mixed breed German Shepard, which we obtained a pup in early 1967.
He quickly grew into a large beautiful German Shepard, although by Summer he was just a big Pup.
By the winter of 1967 he was starting to reach his full growth and showing his signs of his real beauty.
Unfortunately because we were both either working or out during the day. We had to keep him tied up in our Yard. One day two little Neighbor Boys came into the yard and were teasing and taunting him. One of the Boys got too close to him and was bitten. While the Parents were not upset and knew what the Boys had been doing, we realized it was unfair to Czar to keep him tied, and should be somewhere where he could run free.
We started a search for a new home for him, and in the Summer of 1968, we found a couple that had a large Farm in the Fraser Valley and would give him a great new home. Thus with reluctance we parted with Czar.
